Frequently Asked Questions

  • Chevron down Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
  • Tickets must be purchased 24 hours in advance, and tours often sell out quickly. Tickets are $60 per person. Please book well in advance to increase your chances of getting the day and time you prefer. Tickets can be purchased by clicking the “Book a tour” button on any page of the site. If a tour is sold out, we can add your name to a waiting list if you fill out the form on the contact page. Tours with less then four guests will be either rescheduled or refunded.

  • Chevron down How much is food served on the tour?
  • During the Flagstaff Food Tour, you taste enough food that, for most participants, lunch afterward is not necessary. With the drink and food tastings combined with breaks for architectural, cultural, and historical insight, most participants are comfortably full after the food tour.

  • Chevron down What days do your tours take place?
  • Our season runs April-October and we run at least 2 tours per week. If you do not see a date available then please contact us, we may be able to add a tour date to our current schedule.

  • Chevron down What is your policy on late arrivals?
  • Our tour guides are instructed to start the tour on time. Our tours are time sensitive, as we coordinate with our vendors on times when we will visit them. Additionally, our tour guides are paid to work within a certain timeframe, as many of them do other tours for us on the same day. When participants are late, it creates a domino effect that affects the participants, vendors, and tour guides alike. We will not offer any refunds or rescheduling opportunities for participants who are late for the tours.

  • Chevron down Can I get a refund or reschedule a tour?
  • Once tickets are purchased, these are binding. Tickets cannot be refunded and cannot be rescheduled because your space is being guaranteed at the event. No exceptions.

  • Chevron down Is it appropriate to bring children on the food tour?
  • The food tour tends to be long for some children who have a limited attention span, so the Flagstaff Food Tour may not be appropriate for some of them. Since there is a lot of standing and walking, please consider this when deciding whether the culinary tasting adventure is appropriate for your child. We do not offer discounted tickets for children.

  • Chevron down How much walking is involved?
  • The Downtown Flagstaff tour entails approximately 2 miles of walking. You can expect to be standing or walking for a majority of the time.

  • Chevron down Does the tour guide accept gratuities?
  • Gratuities are greatly appreciated. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 20%.

  • Chevron down Can I shop during the Flagstaff Food Tour?
  • We ask that you please wait to shop until after the food tour so that we can stay on our food-tasting schedule in a timely manner. We ask you allow time at the end of the tour to return to your favorite locations and/or stores. The tasting adventures are scheduled to arrive at each tasting location at a certain time. It’s important to stay on schedule so that the food is freshly prepared for you.

  • Chevron down Are any beverages served on the Flagstaff Food Tour?
  • Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided at each food stop. You will have an opportunity to order and pay for alcoholic beverages at certain stops.

  • Chevron down Does the food tour end at the same place we meet?
  • No, we do not finish at the same location as the meeting point, but your guide can escort you back to the starting point or you can choose to stay in the location where the tour ends.

  • Chevron down What restaurants will we visit during the culinary tasting?
  • Our tastings are at some of the best eateries in the area. We focus on providing a variety of delectable cuisines that range from the newest, hottest spots to the traditional, time-tested favorites. See our Tour Partners page for a list of restaurants. These locations may change without notice

  • Chevron down Is there parking near the tour meeting point?
  • Yes, there are various parking lots and garages located near the meeting point that will be provided prior to your tour date.

  • Chevron down What happens if it rains?
